* He is married to Katie.

* When he and Dolph came to Anita's apartment after she was attacked by zombies, they saw her penguin collection. Ever since then, whenever Anita visits the station, there are stuffed penguins everywhere.

* He owns a pair of pajamas with choo-choos on it. ^.^

* He and his wife have been married for ten years and were having an anniversary celebration, when Dolph called both him and Anita to check out a possible lycanthrope skin that was found in a river.

* Later, when Anita got the police over to Elvira's house, she set it up so that they could enter the house. While there, Zerbrowski was attacked by one of the witches in an animal skin, specifically a leopard. He was nearly eviscerated by the attack, but Anita shot it dead.

* After he returned from sick leave, he began leaving stuffed penguins for Anita in the oddest places, including Anita's car seat and trunk, crime scenes, and the last on ever desk at the police precinct.
