Shang-Da

Even from a distance there was an intensity in his gaze that was almost unnerving. I knew we suddenly had his full attention and all he'd done was move his head.

* Allegedly, he is the grandson of Millie, who is a resident of Myerton, TN. She is an elderly woman with grey and white hair cut very short and permed. She wears glasses and leans heavily on a cane.

* Shang-Da does not like Anita because he is loyal to Richard and believes that she betrayed him.

* When they were brought to the police station for fighting off their attackers, Shang-Da refused to allow his prints to be taken and Anita backed him up, telling Wilkes he had to charge them with something first.

* Shang-Da is the first lycanthrope that Anita has met who carries a gun - a snub-nosed thirty-eight, chrome plated - and is comfortable doing so.

* Shang-Da never seems comfortable unless he is dressed elegantly with "polished wingtips."

* Shang-Da looks angry with Anita when she comes to see Richard with Micah in tow.
