Sabin

"You school your face to show nothing, Jean-Claude, but I read the horror in your eyes." Jean-Claude's skin had gone back to its usual milky perfection...

The muscles on the rotted side didn't work, and his mouth hung crooked. I glanced away, then made myself look back. If he could be trapped inside that face, then I could look at it.

* For the love of his beloved, the unnamed Cassandra, Sabin gave up drinking the blood of other humans. He tried drinking cold blood and animal blood, but it was not enough. Dominic believed his condition stemmed from his abstinence.

* Sabin is around Anita's height, but she's not sure if that is his true height or not, or if he no longer has legs, due to the virulence of his condition.

* Sabin's master abilities include laughter which cuts like glass. He inadvertently cut Jean-Claude and Anita, causing them both to bleed. He apologized, because he was expending so much power maintaining his body.

* During the grand opening of Danse Macabre, Sabin visited with Anita and "met" Cassandra, who reacted badly to his appearance.

* Because of Sabin's condition, the only way to preserve the triumvirate was to either heal Sabin somehow or hope that Dominic's spells could keep his insanity locked up. Because otherwise, if the Vampire Council must kill him, they would kill Cassandra and Dominic as well.

* Their triumvirate had a deal with Marcus and Raina. The lycanthropes were supposed to kill off Anita. They failed.

* When Edward shot Dominic, Sabin attacked him. Anita told Edward to shoot Robert's heart so that she could help him. The circle of power Dominic had made was destroyed and Anita came into the circle, shooting three bullets into his chest, and then three more into his face, killing him.
