Veronica Ronnie Sims

Veronica Sims is different. She's my friend and she understands. Ronnie is a private detective. We take turns visiting each other in the hospital.

* She is Anita's best friend. The two women often work out together, usually on Saturdays, consisting of running.

* Often Ronnie helps Anita in her cases, doing investigation from the human side of her usually preternatural problems. She was the one to link Cal Rupert to HAV.

* Ronnie was involved in helping Anita out with a case involving George Smitz and his wife Peggy.

* Along with Raina and Gabriel, Ronnie and Anita go to George's house to make him confess.

* Ronnie also instructs Anita on her fashion sense. Since Anita doesn't have any, Ronnie always encourages her to buy certain clothing, like short miniskirts and lingerie. Of course, she wants Anita to become more serious with Richard, and not Jean-Claude, who she calls fang-face.

* Ronnie is currently involved with Louie and seeing him on a regular basis. Although she was disappointed that Anita chose Jean-Claude, she still holds hope that Anita will come to her senses.

* Ronnie turns 30 in NiC and celebrates it with Anita, since Louie is out of town.

* She and Anita are drawing apart because she no longer understands her.
