He was almost perfectly arrogant, but his ego was fragile, an arrogance that had never been tested in the outer world. He was like one of those fairy tale princesses that had been raised in an ivory tower with only people who told them how beautiful they were, how smart, how good, until the witch comes and lays her curse. Maybe I could be the witch, though truthfully I wouldn't have known a curse if it bit me on the butt. Maybe I could be the prince that comes and takes him away. At this point, I wasn't picky. Red Woman's Husband (Red) is a vampire, but he thinks that he is a god, thanks to his
upbringing. * Red is so named because the Red Woman is blood, according to the Aztec language) and he, the husband, is the body for that life. * He is responsible for all the killings. Red ate that part which made the people individuals and then skinned his victims, creating empty machines rather than zombies. * Red wears a steel helmet, a mask over his face, and breastplate. He also wears a necklace of tongues which writhes as if still alive, and a skirt of intestines. * Red took their skins to cover himself like a cloak. he also took various body parts for the following reasons:
* He tries to suck the life out of Anita, but she ends up killing him with a hidden pen-knife in the heart. * Later, Anita dug into his chest to remove his heart and Olaf cut off his head. |
