I realized he was cute in a young guy sort of way, and he knew it. Not in an egomaniac way, but I was a female, and he was cute, and he was hoping that would cut him some slack with me. Boy, was he shopping in the wrong aisle. (Obsidian Butterfly, page 74, paragraph 2) |

| Description | His skin is a solid dark brown, but it's not a tan. Possibly due to Indian or Hispanic origins. His dark hair is cut very short, not for style, but as if it were easier that way. | |
| Commentary |
* Ramirez has an endearing quality to him that makes him a
good good cop. * Ramirez enjoys flirting with Anita and hopes for something more, despite her attempts to dissuade him. * He tends to wear his tie at half-mast and to roll up the long sleeves of his dress shirt. * Ramirez was the one that told Anita that Marks was trying to get her arrested for magical malfeasance. * When Anita is recovering from her injuries in the hospital, not only does he visit, but he brings flowers and balloons (Winnie the Pooh). * Ramirez's grandmother was being courted by two men, neither of which she had truly committed to, until she met his grandfather and then she knew why she had been hesitating. She'd not met the right man yet. * Poppy is his great-grandfather's name. * He is at least a sensitive because he reacts to magic during one of the shows at the Obsidian Butterfly. |
