I smiled. "They feed her raw meat. I believe the article said lamb was preferred."
"Article?"
"Every career has its professional journal, Dolph."

(Guilty Pleasures, page 24, paragraph 7)

Commentary Anita is up to date on a variety of preternatural events, thank to several publications that she reads.

The Animator
* Flesh-eating zombies last longer than normal. There is a case of a woman who is still human-looking after 3 years, since they feed her raw meat. Lamb is preferred.

The Vampire Quarterly
* Previously, Anita had mentioned that a victim who died of multiple bite wounds of a vampire would not rise from the dead. However, she recalled an article that even one bite might make a victim rise as a vampire, and a very powerful master vampire could contaminate every corpse it touches.

* Animalistic vampires are like PCP addicts. They do not feel pain. This is a footnote to the above article. Anita realizes that crosses do not work with them as a result and contemplates writing her own aritcle.
