Neal sniffed Stephen, running his nose just above the other man's face and neck, down his shoulder. It wasn't a human gesture, and it was unnerving in the well-dressed man.
"He has her scent on his skin." Neal glared at me. "He's been with her."

* Neal tried to attack Anita and prove that he was superior, but Richard warned her and she managed to duck his hit. Later, she tricked him by standing in front of a window and judo rolling him through it, thus drawing first blood and establishing herself as a dominant and alpha.
