* Juliana had been with Asher for many years.

* Juliana was the human servant of Asher, and while she loved him,  she was also in love with Jean-Claude. They enjoyed a ménage à trois in the past and Belle Morte was jealous of their relationship.

* Because she was involved with the two vampires, she was burned at the stake as a witch. Jean-Claude tried to save her, but was only able to save Asher.

* In the past, Belle Morte tried to get Artuo to have sex with Julianna, because she thought it wouldn't hurt her.
