"Please tell me that this wasn't some sort of dominance crap?"

* Jamil is an alpha werewolf, strong enough to keep Richard out when the later allowed his power to wash over the pack during the dominance battle with Marcus.

* After Marcus and Raina were killed, Jamil became part of Richard's pack and his Enforcer, which didn't please Anita at first.

* When he tries to stop Richard from killing Fernando, Richard crushes his throat and is only saved when Richard uses his beast to heal him.

* Jamil was supposed to guard Richard while he was in Myerton, TN, but was not present when Betty framed him for rape charges.

* Jamil never wanted to accept Anita as his dominant and forced the issue when he tried to challenge her. She succeeded in proving herself.

* Since they are going to meet the other pack, Jamil is given the task of teaching Anita and Jason proper lukoi etiquette. 

* Later, Jamil  takes a bullet for Anita, and since it wasn't silver, he is able to heal from it. Anita speeds the healing process by calling on the munin.

* Although he is referred to as Richard's Sköff in NIC, this is a typo. He is the Sköll.

* If he could have done so, Jamil would have tried to protect Richard from the fact that Anita was with Micah.

* Jamil doesn't do casual nudity. He is one of the few modest shapeshifters that Anita knows.

* Richard used Jamil as a more gentle example of how to coax his beast out to Anita, who needed to coax Gregory's beast out.
