Commentary * Betty was one of Richard's dates who accused him of rape and got him thrown in jail.

* Although there was no semen found, she had vaginal tearing and bruising along with evidence of penetration, indicating a rape of some kind.

* Betty had told Richard that she likes sex rough.

* Betty is confronted by Charlotte in the Happy Cowboy bar and comes to blows with her, although she can hardly fight.

* In the end, Betty is used as a sacrifice by Linus to summon a demon. Because she was not pure, the demon was able to kill her and take her soul.
